Who We Are

We are 2 therapists dedicated to the art of myofascial release as taught by John F. Barnes, PT

Together, Karey and Richard have approximately 50 years of combined experience, with over 30 of those years with Myofascial Release as taught by John F. Barnes, PT.  We provide advanced myofascial care for many physical problems including neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, and other orthopedic problems.  Karey has additional training for pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women.

Karey Harty graduated from Hahnemann University in 1984 with a post-Bacheloreate Certificate in Physical Therapy.  She has specialized in MFR since 1994 and has over 100 hours of training and internships in the John Barnes Myofascial Release method.  She has focused on pelvic floor treatment for both men and women since 1997, receiving her specialized training through the Section on Women's Health of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Karey Harty was a competitive athlete in college and coaches the Tokay High Cross Country Team.  She has also given birth to two boys.  Her personal experience coupled with her training and education gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the changes in the pelvic floor as a result of these activities.

He graduated from Loma Linda University with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1981 and has worked within the field of sports medicine as a therapist and as a computer programmer.  He was also the director of physical therapy in a pain rehabilitation program based on a Mayo Clinic model.  He has trained with John Barnes, PT since 1991 and has become an advanced myofascial practitioner.
